I learned in this outcome about fibre optic cables and how there made of class and hotspot and about a keychain and how they remember your password and about modems and they are hardware and fibre optics are hardware and the web browser is software internet provider is hardware two main internet providers are eir and sky 4 main internet sources are web browser google fire fox internet explorer and safari are the main sources and satellite broadband can lose connection a lot easier than cables
In this learning outcome I learned about terminology such as URLs,hyperlinks,search engines,social networks,blogs and e-learning and advantages of e-learning and the disadvantages an advantage is you learn it quicker but a disadvantage is you don’t get feedback off anyone so you can’t see what you did wrong and the internet is easy for buying and selling stuff and we looked at a chinese app called we chat and its for all apps and stuff like that
I learned about about the browser and hyper links and the type of content on the internet like news,buying and selling,videos and reading and the meaning of https is hyper text transfer protocol secure and .org means organisation , .ie means Ireland ,.co.uk means United Kingdom and that emails a lot easier and quicker to do than normal post so people are starting to use email is a lot more common to use than post because it comes quicker
I learned today about the internet and some of the effects of the internet of the modern day which is people don’t go out as much but a good thing is your able to communicate with family and friends all over the world buying and selling online is so much easier nowadays and social media makes it so easy to be able to talk to friends and family. Social media apps such as snapchat,facebook,instagram and twitter makes communication easier. I also learned how online banking is so much easier than having to go to a bank machine and its more secure than getting cash in hand. Because your guaranteed to get the right amount of wages but with cash in hand people can just say your or getting your full money cash in hand because there’s no contract or anything.
